Dr. Willette E. Whitaker
Dr. Whitaker is the founding leader of Harvested Faith Christian Academy. She brings nearly 30 years of experience in education spanning preschool through 12th grade as well as higher education. Throughout her career, she has served as a classroom teacher, guidance counselor, academic coordinator, school administrator, director of operations, and head of school, developing a broad and impactful perspective on student learning and school leadership.
Dr. Whitaker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science (now Thomas Jefferson University), a Master of Education degree in Multicultural Education from Eastern University, and a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University. She is also a proud graduate of the illustrious 253rd graduating class of Central High School in Philadelphia.
Dr. Whitaker's professional experience includes work in small Christian schools, large comprehensive public schools, AmeriCorps, Community College of Philadelphia, and the University of Pennsylvania. Through these roles, she developed expertise in curriculum development, college and career readiness, and school leadership. Dr. Whitaker prioritizes designing high-quality academic and enrichment programs that meet the needs of diverse learners, while building strong relationships with staff, students, and families to create close-knit, engaging communities.
As an educator, a parent, and a woman of faith, Dr. Whitaker is deeply committed to helping young people flourish while pursuing the path God has designed for them. She is passionate about creating opportunities that lead to student success while developing vibrant educational experiences that nurture the whole child. Her goal is to provide families with meaningful, high-quality options that focus on the specific, unique needs of every learner.
