Harvested Faith Christian Academy (HFCA) is a private, coeducational, evangelical Christian Middle and High School serving 5th through 12th grade students in Philadelphia. The purpose of HFCA is to provide a quality academic program with a Christian view of God and His world and to equip Christian leaders in society through exploration, preparation, and the skills necessary to therefore GO!
There is an important difference between the Christian and the non-Christian viewpoint on any given subject. No subject can be fully understood or properly taught if its relationship to the Creator is ignored or denied. Only the scriptural approach to education can be God-honoring for Christian parents and their children. Harvested Faith Christian Academy is a ministry that meets that need.
To offer a quality education that is tailored to meet the needs of each student, HFCA will maintain a student / teacher ratio of 15:1. There may be occasions when students will be grouped according to ability for instruction in lieu of actual grade levels, but class ratios will consistently be maintained.
The Harvested Faith Christian Academy student is expected to model Christian behavior. Cleanliness of mind, language, and body is a good starting point. The Bible instructs us to “do all things to the glory of God.” Therefore, the HFCA student should strive to be free of worldly standards of appearance and behavior, and he/she should use this freedom to demonstrate God’s glory.
HFCA Administration, Board Members, Staff, Mentors, and Community Partners will work diligently with students and parents to assist each student in becoming a reflection of Christ. In this sense, HFCA is more than just a school---it is a lifestyle. We all do life together as a community!
